10. Lox- We Are The Street. This album was the last album the threesome put out. Released at the top of 2000 I dare you pop this in today and say it aint still the shit.
9. State Property- Chaingang Vol 2. In my opinion the best group album since Wu Tang Forever. Had Beans not been locked up when it dropped they could have promoted this album better. If you haven't had a chance to listen to this one yet, do your self a favor and look this one up.
8. Lil Wayne-The Carter 3. One of the most highly anticipated albums ever and it lived up to expectations.
7. Nas- Stillmatic. One of Nas's most impactful albums spawned by a fire lit up under his ass by Jay-Z.
6. Beanie Sigel- The Truth. My personal favorite album from my favorite rapper(Yeah I said it. So what its my blog). Front to back pure hard hitting lyrics with the beats to match. Beans is hands down one of the deepest MC's EVER.
5. ScarFace- The Fix. No doubt one of Face's best albums. The creativity on this one is unmatched.
4. Kanye West- Graduation. Kanye is no doubt one of the most impactful MC's of the last 10 years and this was his best work.
3. Jay-Z - The Blue Print. You Drop an album on the same day that a national emergency occurs (9/11) and you still go gold that day? Not to mention you cause Nas to step his pen game up. Nuff said.
2. Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP. Stan, I Am .. need I say more? Not to mention this shit went Diamond.
1. 50 Cent Get Rich or Die Tryin. Not that I'm saying 50's better than the aforementioned MC's on this list cause I don't think so. But this was one of the most highly anticipated albums of the decade with a movement unlike we have ever seen before and the album was hot. 7 years later and I would still listen to this. and it is the highest selling album on the list.
Honorable Mention.
OutKast- Speaker Box/ The Love Below
T.I. -King
Ludacris- Red Light District
Diplomats- Diplomatic Immunity Vol 1
